Create Business Cards
Some people are so artsy that they can put any sort of print piece together. And then others just don't have that knack but still, they need something, they need it fast, and they have to struggle to get it done, or spend an extraordinary amount of money to have that artsy person do it for them. Or at least that's how it used to always be.
Now, that less-than-creative person can do the work herself without the input of anyone else, if she really tries. Let's take business cards, for example. Our not-so-artistic person can create business cards with a flourish. Her finished product will look as if a professional put it together. But how can this be? If our lady uses an online print company to create business cards, taking full advantage of design templates and ink and paper colors, as well as all the fun fonts, she will have business cards in no time and no one will have any idea that she didn't do it all by herself . . . unless she lets the secret out.
Our clueless person is willing to take the challenge, visiting an online printer and following all directions. It really is a step-by-step process and as long as she can read and do as the guide suggests, she can create business cards. She's found her printer and roams through the templates. She selects the most basic because she's afraid of going all-out. But even the simplest of templates will give our lady the opportunity to create business cards she'll be proud to hand out. She begins to realize this as she reviews the template's directions as to how to add her ink colors and fonts, and even some fun graphics.
Oh my, fun. She's actually starting to enjoy this. The fear is abating, and she may be getting into this artsy stuff. We're not sure yet, though, so we still watch her, just in case she gets in over her head. This experiment is starting to work out and it may not be long before our friend understands how to create business cards . . . rather than simply follows the directions to create business cards. There is a difference. While anyone can do it, someone with an idea of how all the components go together best will end up with the best product. Will our lady get this concept?
It looks like she is on her way. She has her template and now she's looking into what font she should use. To create business cards for her needs-she's an accountant-she requires only the simplest of designs to work it all out. Yet she appears to be going for something more . . . oh no, should we dare say it? . . . creative. She's picking out a font that has personality and a bit of flair. She is on the verge of actually appearing just a bit imaginative, and her effort to create business cards is moving into the realm of artistry. This is amazing. Quite possibly these online printers are capable of miracles!
Yes, it seems to be the case. Our otherwise always less-than-creative lady has finished her effort to create business cards. There's color, there are fun fonts, and there is even artwork. Yes, artwork is included. The final product turns out to be business cards of which even she is proud. Her fear of all things creative has been vanished. She's cured.
Tomorrow, she will create business cards for the whole office. There's no stopping her now.
